South Africa has a great variety of landscapes and is a truly beautiful country. Some great national parks with Kruger being the star as it is the largest park in Africa and one of the largest in the world with a mind boggling variety and abundance of wildlife. Besides Kruger we also visited Cape Town and surrounding areas and Wilderness at the middle of the Garden Route along the Indian Ocean. Everywhere our expectations were easily exceeded!

I have had 3 visits to this Park, and all my expectations were met in terms of Wildlife, birds and ambiance. There always seemed to be more to explore and experience. The hide is wonderful, as are the vista points. The elephants seem very comfortable with human presence. Highly recommended.

South Africa has a lot is national parks, and probably privat game reserves are more dense in terms of animals. We also visited blyde river canyon (stunning), cango caves, drove Cape Town to Plettenberg bay - every place worth spending more time. The nature is very beautiful and lush.
