You must visit South Africa!
I went to South Africa with my boyfriend for our first safari and as our first "overseas trip" as well, so we were very excited, but we didn't know ecxatly what to expect. Well, everything surprised us in a very positive way. We visited the Kruger National Park and had the unique opportunity to see many of the animals we knew only throught the Discovery Channel very close! We saw all the Big 5 and many wonderful animals more (wild dogs, hienas, hippos, birds, zebras, giraffs, impalas, kudus...). All the game drives we did were fantastics! Besides that, the accomodations were very confortable, the food was delightful and our guide was amazing, sharing all his knowledge and being able to find all the animals.
Everything was much better than I could expect. I surly recomend Wildlife Safaris! :)
Most memorable African safari of our lives.
We just returned from Southern Africa. The first 3 weeks were with a tour company from the US. We visited Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls - and Zambia. But we saved the best for last. After the rest of the tour returned home, we fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit Kruger National Park in South Africa and we did it with Endless Summer Tours. We were picked up at our hotel in Jo-burg by our guide Rhys who remained an endless source of knowledge not only about all the wildlife, but about South Africa in general. He was a superb chef, too. Within the first 10 miles of arriving in the park, we came upon a pack of wild dogs, all of whom appeared to be lounging after a big meal with bellies full. The camp site was classic and our rondavel was cute and cozy. The next to last day was exceptionally memorable in our hunt to glimpse a leopard. After 12 hours of searching, we finally found him, beautiful and majestic. Wow! The next day we saw another leopard on the hunt and an amazing display of a dominant male rhino chasing off 3 younger trespassers. Rhys found all of the big five and a fantastic array of raptors, vultures and other aviary friends. We thank Endless Summer Tours for making our Kruger experience fabulous. Five out of five stars!

The experience of wildlife is something never to be forgotten, highlights every day, and night.
Saw and learnt lots, with comfortable, clean and well appointed camps to enjoy overnight. The company we booked with (Wild Planet Safari) was efficient, well equipped and also personal in our dealings with them. I would recommend them to others.

Sabi Sands was Magnificant!
We stayed at Idube game lodge for our Sabi Sands adventure. Everything exceeded our expectations (and we are picky folks). The lodge staff, the rangers and trackers, and the culinary experts were all outstanding. Everyone was friendly and outgoing. If you wanted privacy, you could easily retreat to your room and deck. September was perfect for temperatures (cool mornings and hot afternoons) and animal encounters. Not a good time of year for birding, but we knew that going in. Saw everything we wanted to and more. Would highly recommend this lodge. As they say, "people make the difference"....they definitely did.

Amazing
The wildlife and accommodation were great. the personnel was always helpful and the chefs prepared some of the best dishes I had during my entire stay in SA. Guides really made a difference during the game drives and bush walk as they have a much better clue where to look for animals and other signs of wildlife. The reserve itself was very dry because of the lack of rain. This made spotting animals a lot easier, but it would have been nice if it had already rained so the landscape looks prettier. In general, they definitely surpassed my expectations and I can recommend them for a guided tour to Kruger.

I don't have enough time in other parks to rate them. In fact I haven't been to any of these listed below...yet. But we do love going to Mpumalanga province for vacation. The scenery is fantastic.

Wildlife & scenic beauty mixed in a blend
Our trip to SA was hassle free. From booking till we departed it was easy convenient & satisfying. Primarily we went for wildlife & we saw all the big 5 just in the 4 hrs of drive through the jungles of kruger. I was a bit annoyed with our guide because he was not giving us much time to click pictures & he was rather interested in showing us as much animals as he can. He was right in his own way, but our trip was primarily a photographing the wildlife. But it was still ok for us because we spotted almost everything.
I thank staff of Safarbookings.com as well as staffs of the lodge Sabie river bush lodge who we very hospitable during our stay. Our safari guide was unique he made us spot many animals, special thanks yo him
Splendid South Africa Vacation
Me and my wife have never traveled to another country where everyone is always in a good mood and smiling all the time. From the moment we were picked up at our Hotel in J'Burg for our transfer to Kruger National Park, everyone is always smiling and eager to greet you; unlike Europe where we mostly travel. We went to South Africa foremost for a Safari adventure, and we received more than we expected. Wiring money overseas for something you have never done before would make everyone a little apprehentious, but our agent even gave us here personal cell number in case of any concerns. All payments were handled by a bank and all went smooth. The folks for our safari know why you are there - to see animals ! yes and they get you where the animals are. Though the guides at Kruger must stay on the road - we got some amazing photo's. A few days Later we transferred to Elephant Plains Game Lodge where it was 4-star luxury in the bush with fabulous food. The guides are allowed to go off road as it is private with the most fantastic photo's and video of our trip. Then me and my wife flew to Cape Town ( Camp's Bay ) for 7 nights. I highly recommend Camp's Bay for folks who want to spend a little more for being away from downtown, ocean front views, ease of walking distance to dine out, and all around safety while walking at night. The hop-on, hop off sightseeing bus stop was right in front of The Bay Hotel where we staying making it a convenient way to get downtown to V & A waterfront or to wine tasting region, Tabletop Mountain, monkey and bird exhibits. I decided not to rent a car there - don't forget they drive on the left side of the road down there !! Your US $'s do go far there too, making a splendid trip even more memorable. The weather is a Mediterranean climate and very pleasant. Fantastic time in South Africa.
