It is such a diverse country and I hope to be back to get to see more of it next time.

I've also journeyed to Amboseli National Park in Kenya. That sits next to Mount Kilimanjaro and was much greener with different wildlife -- but I was also there in May. What I liked about South Africa was the different ecology, the ease of having English spoken everywhere, and the incredible knowledge of most everyone we ran into around the Balule Reserve. I came away far more educated than in Kenya.

Conservation is a high priority in South Africa and there are many reserves and wild life parks through out. The bird life, fauna and flora are so diverse and often unique to the area that it is a country that has to be experienced

I have been in SA around 20 times, in different places and I must say it is a gorgeous country which has a bad reputation oversea. But I only met good people there and I am ready to go back in a couple of weeks.

The only negative thing it's sometimes there are too many people watching the same animal and it could be stressing for him.

More than we hoped for. A bargain!
Marianne helped 7 of us go on private safari to 2 very different, but equally spectacular places with Victoria Falls in the middle. We did a lot, but were never rushed.
Our guides were very good at their craft. We were amazed at how much we could see in such a short time. They also talked about life in Africa, and the culture and history. We took the trip of a lifetime.
The accommodations were great, food excellent. We have referred friends to Marianne, and would use her services again.

South Africa is a great place to go for people who want "nature" with some luxury (in terms of European Standards) and the perfect country for "Africa Beginners". You can find everything you like, but of course most interesting for people interested in Wildlife. And there is plenty if you go to the right places.

I think South Africa is the only place you will experience such wide range of animal species as well as such beautiful scenery.

Sanparks manage a large number of game park in different areas, each with a unique appeal and different options, but all very well looked after and affordable. Then there are many private game reserves - more expensive but catering for every need of thos who want to travel in luxury.
