Incredible experience, tremendous value
From the moment we left Johannesburg and made our way to the Greater Kruger Park area, we felt the familiar thrill of returning to a place that stirs something deep within us. The bush has a way of calling you back—and once again, it did not disappoint.
No sooner had we arrived to our Viva safari experience than we were off on our first game drive. It was immediate immersion. We witnessed the raw power of a leopard—his impala meal draped high in a tree, a stunning display of strength and survival. Not far off, we found him again, lounging in the branches, regal and relaxed, as if granting us a rare, personal audience. It was unforgettable.
As the sun dipped low, we were gifted one of the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. The sky painted itself in warm, fiery hues—nature’s backdrop to the untamed beauty of the bush. Later that evening, we encountered a pride of lions intently watching a herd of water buffalo just beyond a game fence. The stare-down was intense. The buffalo, visibly agitated, held their ground. It was nature’s drama, unfolding before us.
Our days were filled with both game drives and bush walks—each one a masterclass in ecology. We learned so much, not only about the Big Five, but about the entire ecosystem, from industrious termites to vibrant birdlife. Every creature plays a role, and every moment taught us something new.

South Africa is about colours, vibrations, diversity
In Kruger Park was my first safari. Great park, lots of animals, nature, smells and sounds. The evening safari is a cool experience.
An amazing country.
We love South Africa because of the friendly people everywhere, the face that the landscape seems to change almost every hour when you travel through the country, the wildlife, the climate, the excellent food and the prices of food and drinks (compared to the Netherlands)
It was our second visit and for sure we will go back again. We love going there when it gets colder in the Netherlands and it is spring/summer in South Africa.

SA 3 day safari
I spent a week in SA just outside Johannesburg. If you don't feel concerned regarding personal safety the constant reminders with adverts re safety and electric wire around everywhere - you soon do. It rained for 9 days constantly!
Everyone I dealt with was really helpful and very nice but - ask yourself would you want to live in a hugely wealthy country and be reduced to performing handstands at red lights, or asking customers at the restaurant is it ok repeatedly because some white guy is watching them like a hawk! There feels little dignity for the majority of the population in the Joburg, Petoria area. For which reason I will not return.
The Safari was great - if there is a dentist from Asia who has not taken their new partner on Safari - I rather doubt it! At the weekends- white SA arrives for Safari with their "special children". In short this country needs visitors and the money we bring and everyone was so welcoming. It has a huge amount to offer but until it equalises ownership, equality and opportunity!!!

Beautiful and Diverse
It’s hard to find a trip that can match what South Africa offers. It provides something for everyone from chasing the Big Five in Kruger to sipping wines in the Cape Winelands to cycling the Cape Peninsula.
We read a lot about safety in South Africa but we never felt unsafe at any time. We did an incredibly well organized tour to Kruger with MoAfrika but also toured on own in the Capetown area. Renting a car was easy and safe, much prefer driving in South Africa to let’s say Italy.
I can’t imagine a better climate than you will find in Capetown. Always sunny and never too hot. I found it to be a cross between the beauty of Vancouver, Canada and the wonderful climate of San Diego, USA. Kruger can be very hot so I would choose a cooler time of year to visit if that is a concern.

Even better than I could ever imagine!
We had a family experience: my husband, my 11 years old son and I. South Africa is much better than great! We visited Johannesburg, than we drove to Kruger National Park and we had one of the best experiences in the Safari. We could see the Big 5 plus the Cheetah! People are amazing, very kind and gentle everywhere! We could eat zebra and crocodile meat (delicious)!!! The weather helped a lot, not too hot, despite it's summer time! Table Mountain (in Cape Town) was the best city! And Plettemberg the most beautiful and lovely! The wildlife, the landscape, the views... we'll never forget. Important to mention: we rented a car and it was very easy to park everywhere. And it was also very safe!

One of the best experiences of my life
I had never been interested in going on a safari, but once I decided to visit South Africa, it became a must-do on my list.
No regrets—it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Being so close to animals in their natural habitat was surreal.
Mo Afrika provided top-notch guides who were knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent at spotting wildlife. Thanks to them, I was able to see the Big Five in just two days in February.
I highly recommend this experience to everyone at least once in their lifetime!
