Once in a lifetime experience to view some of the last few strongholds for wild animals.

We saw all of the Big 5 and more!

Amazing experience
We were very surprised about the very friendly and lovely people in Tanzania. We enjoyed our time so much. The game drives in the national parks were amazing, we saw lots of different animals including all of the big five. The accommodations were great, we had lodges and tented camps in Tarangire NP, Serengeti and on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. In all of them we could find wildlife and could watch the animals. The food in the lodges was very delicious and the staff was so lovely and always met our expactations. We are sure we will visit Tanzania again.

Northern circuit is an amazing region in the country where national parks are almost next to each other. The terrain is quite carried, and animal density is great. The only issue is the cost which is quite steep because of the lack of infrastructure.

Amazing quantity and quality.
The guide makes quite a difference. We booked our safari late and we faced some challenges but our safari was incredible. We saw way more than what we expected. We knew that July was a good month but our guide was really good, he made us see so many animals and places. Take good note of this: Ask for Charles at Orongai Safari.
We will never forget this awesome experience!

A once in a lifetime experience!
We just got back from an amazing 10 day Safari that Earthlife Expeditions planned and customized for us. Our driver and guide Kessy Evod was knowledgeable, very attentive with a wonderful personality - a dexterous and adept driver on the dusty and extremely bumpy roads, he made sure we had an incredible experience and saw everything imaginable. We went from a wonderful scenic day trek to the first base camp in Kilimanjaro to the Tarangire National Park where we saw multitudes of elephants and their families, baboons, wildebeest and zebras. In Manyara we had a visit to a village and farms where there is an abundance of fruits and vegetables and had a delicious local meal. We also went to the Olduvai Gorge and their impressive modern museum and had a chance to visit a Maasai village near the Ngorongoro Conservation area. The highlight, needless to say, was time spent in Central and North Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, where we experienced the vastness and beauty of the savannah and saw all the wildlife imaginable - innumerable bird species, lions, zebras, giraffes, crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, and, ultimately, the migration of thousands of wildebeest. The accommodations, were always comfortable especially at the Simba Lodge in Tarangire and the Tanzania Bush Camps in the Serengeti. Surprisingly, there was WiFi and charging stations in the reception areas. The food too, always varied and good and especially so at Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu where the chef was innovative and exceptional! Thanks, once again, to Kessy for giving us the breaks we needed and for his help and caring attitude. It made the whole trip worthwhile - the trip of a lifetime!
Bonus: in August cool mornings and nights and NO mosquitoes!

It couldn't have been better.
I have to say we couldn't have been happier with our 8 day, permanent tented, safari in tanzania. Couldn't ask for a better considerate, fun, attentive, knowledgeable guide than Martin. He went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied with our safari. If you ever want to go on a safari in Africa, Tanzania IS the place. We saw elephants, leopards, zebra, gazelles, cheetas, lions, wildebeast. Martin detoured from our schedule to catch the migration of hundreds of wildebeast. We ate our lunch in our vehicle surrounded by them.
I highly recommend "It Started In Africa" tour company. The price was GREAT. The staff did everything i asked for. Very patient with all my questions and accommodated my every want. The food, the wait staff, the accommodations, the weather, were perfect.
Thank you Baraja.

Exotic & wild safari
Without focusing much about bumpy & rough roads, Tanzania is fantastic for exotic and wild safari. However, in case we are talking about animal varieties, Kenya has more animal species based on my own experiences. Nevertheless, in term of quantity, Tanzania is the best :)

5 wonderful days in the Serengeti
We stayed in a luxury tented camp in the north of the Serengeti closed to the Kogatende airstrip. During our stay we were lucky to see the great migration of wilderbeest crossing the Mara river three times. Crocodiles killing wilderbeest in the river were spectacular!
Besides, hunting cheetas and hunting lions; what an adventure. But key to us was the number of 5 days we spent in one camp where we had ample time to experience wildlife and nature without rushing too much from oned place to the next one. So we appreciated many elefants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, even two rhinos!!!, antilopes, gazelles, baboons and many many more animals!
The Serengeti is unique and so much more adventure compared to other national parks. We hope it will be protected forever. Hence, we as tourists and guests in Tansania should be prepared to pay our share for this.
Our Tansanian guides and people helping us were so friendly and helpfull throughout our entire stay!
Great thanks to the people of Tansania for hosting us and sharing this world wonder with us!

Unforgettable Semeji
We found Shemeji safari through booking safari. The communication with Emma via email was good and fast. She organized for us 5day safari (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). Our guide Edward was very safe, frendly and patient; chef Godson had been cooking great meals, he also cooked for us the african traditional food-ugali! We were very lucky for the weather, it was every time sunny, and we were able to see very beatifull landscapes.. Our guide Edward was able to make us see animals from short distances, expecially 5 Big of Africa, we made a lot of great photos . We aren't disappointed to have chosen Shemeji safari, it's a very serious and faithful company . We recommend SHEMEJI SAFARI!
