Epic trip
Soul of Tanzania did an outstanding job with my itinerary. From the time they picked me up at the Kilamanjaro airport until the time I left Zanzibar 12 days later, every day was filled with National Geographic worthy landscapes and wild animal encounters.
I got to see the big five and the accommodations and food were outstanding. The veggies, coffee, fruit were all locally grown and the beef and chicken all free range. No factory food! Also, I got spoiled drinking South African wine.
But the best part of all was the people. As a 69 year old woman traveling alone, I felt so safe!
Can't wait to bring my family the next time I travel to Tanzania.

Beautiful country with friendly people, incredible scenery, and amazing wildlife.
I did a one day safari to Ngorongoro crater, and then a trek on Kilimanjaro. Both amazing experiences, both showcasing the range of natural scenery, animal, and plant life that Tanzania has to offer. Everyone--both tour operators and locals--was friendly and welcoming. A wonderful vacation overall, and I hope to be able to come back soon!

Beautifully
From February 11th to February 16th, 2024, we booked a safari in Tanzania with Ngekewa. Joshua was our contact person and did everything to satisfy us. Joshua is very reliable and was almost available around the clock if we had any questions. Everything went wonderfully smoothly. Upon arrival at the international airport in Arusha, the driver was already waiting for us and took us to the hotel in Arusha. The next morning, the safari began. On our itinerary were: Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and a hike at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, where we visited a coffee plantation and hiked to a beautiful waterfall. The booked accommodations were impeccable. What impressed us greatly, of course, were the indescribably beautiful landscapes and the animals we were able to observe. We can definitely recommend Ngekewa Tours.

The best experience in my life, a dream come true
Safari was amazing, we took a lot of photos, we saw lions, hyenas, elephants, giraffes, buffalo's, Thompson gazelles, a lot of birds and much much more. Makundi is a very good driver and knows a lot about the animals living in the savanna. Don't think, just do it, you will love it!!

That is an amazing country. Beatifil landscape, lots of animal, nice beach, and the best: friendly and happy people, enjoying the life with the hakuna matata concept.

Elephants, Girafes, Antelopes, Gnu, Birds, Monkeys… Mikumi is Amazing and worth it to drive 7 hours to get there… Michael again millions thanks to make our dream come true. I will never forget this moment. Magalie

Trip of a lifetime
Jambo Bwana!
The opportunity to travel to Tanzania came out of the blue for me, but as I dove into the Lonely Planet Guide, I was captivated and excited for my upcoming trip. I researched a lot about the types of safaris and tried to find one that would fit my itinerary which was already packed with various business meetings. I used this site to narrow down my decision and received a WhatsApp message from each of them. I was able to easily communicate and compare/contrast my proposal and finally chose one that was in the middle of the road for me. Meru Slopes. I got really lucky and had a private tour (myself and my colleague) because others on the group had decided to go to a different park. What an experience!
The people of Tanzania are extremely warm and welcoming. I visited a school, a Maasai village, a medical clinic and a mosque! I was warmly welcomed everywhere I went. I am south Asian, so I felt very similar vibes to visiting my own extended family. My group stayed at a new lodge called The Safari House, which was on the Kilimanjaro Golf & Wildlife Estate. There were zebras roaming around the property! The food at the hotel/lodge was incredible. Coffee was just addictive! I ran the Kili half marathon which was a really fun experience, to run a challenging race with thousands of locals. It was a party on the pavement! I also stayed a couple nights at the Gran Melia - WOW what a gem. Just gorgeous.
I will definitely be back to Tanzania. Something about this country, be it that it was never colonized, it's President is a Muslim woman, or that it is a true collectivist society is very captivating. Jambo Bwana!
