Experience of a lifetime.
I took the ferry from Zanzibar to Tanzania early one morning. The ferry was world-class. As I disembarked in Dar es Salaam my safari guide was there to take my luggage and begin the 4hr drive inland. The tour service I used was Kihindo Tours and Safaris. This tour service made the entire time in Tanzania a 10/10 experience from start to finish. I did the 3 Day Sealous (Nyerere National Park) safari with them. I felt totally safe at all time and the accommodation and food at the lodge was beyond what I imagined. Our guide went above and beyond on the 2nd day to ensure we saw the maximum amount of animals. I could sense the passion in his job. This was indeed a once in a lifetime trip.

Very beautiful destination
The Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangine Park have been amazing, instead we have taken a bad decision going to Manyara lake, because we expected to find flamingos but it wasn't the correct season.

Friendly, hospitable people who want to make your visit memorable.
I have been wanting to take an African Safari for many years. I had no idea as to where I should go, After reading reviews of Tanzania, I decided it sounded like what I was looking for. Tanzania did not disappoint. Our safari company, Savannah Explorers, was just as described and Paul our guide was great! The weather was nice with cool mornings and nights but warm, but not hot afternoons. It is had to describe the scenery, as it varies so much. There are mountains all around and open plains as far as you can see. The people are inviting and do all they can to make your visit memorable. We never felt we were not safe.

I saw all the major animals I wanted to!
Tanzania it was amazing. It was pretty cool that our plane landed right in Mikumi. We saw lions, a jaguar, lots of elephants, lots of zebras, lots of antelope, hippos, monkeys, wild pigs, giraffes… it was pretty incredible! The only thing we did not get to see was rhinos. I would definitely recommend a Safari at Mikumi National Park in Tanzania.

Unbelievable, magical place
Our family of wife (myself, wife and 2 children aged 9 & 6) had the trip of our lives in Tanzania
Shadows of Africa organized a beautiful, luxurious trip for us in luxury accommodations in and outside the Serengeti. Zamo, our super knowledgeable and professional guide who stayed with us through the trip because one of the family at the end of the trip and my boys were crying when saying good buy to him
We saw the big five and so much wildlife. Our kids and ourselves were constantly mesmerized.
We left Tanzania with so much fond memories and several of their folk songs stuck in our heads till this day!
Highly recommended trip

Fantastic!
We traveled in Tanzania and Zanzibar for almost three weeks and we loved every minute of it. We saw everything we hoped to see and more in Serengeti, the people in Tanzania were so welcoming and friendly, and we usually felt very safe. Salesmen in Zanzibar were pushy though, so that is the only thing we can mention was a bit tiring.

A spectacular, friendly country
Our family of 16 spent two weeks in Tanzania. The first 10 days were on safari in the north western corner of the country in the last few days at a beach resort in Zanzibar we saw all the wildlife you could possibly imagine. The Ngorongoro crater was the garden of Eden. We ran into the migration of the wildebeests, which was amazing and we finally chilled out on the beach, including a sunset sale on a do and diving with the dolphins. The spice farm tour was also wonderful.
