My dream come true!
I cannot cover all that is beautiful here - all there is to see and all there is to do. We faced each day with great anticipation and each day was equal to OR BETTER than the one before. The people are so incredibly loving, kind, happy and humbling. Their smiles will forever replay in my mind. The best experience I have had with travel abroad. I dreamed for many years of seeing Africa. My decision to settle on Tanzania was SPOT-ON. Tanzania, you were God’s gift to me! Thank you for this life changing experience.

Exciting Friendly Tanzania
I found the people very friendly and helpful, and everything was very well organised. The scenery of course was spectacular and the game parks efficiently run. The weather was perfect for the time of year, however, Kilimanjaro was covered by a lot of cloud so the best view was from the plane. I never felt unsafe as my guide from Dusty Road Travel looked after me very well. I really enjoyed staying in a Lodge and to hear the lion roaring at night and the food and drink was first class. It was a really enjoyable holiday and fully recommended.

Amazing Safari, lovely people
We did a full 5 Day 5 night Safari visiting Terengire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with Safari360 and we were very happy with the arrangement! Our guide Amosi was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed learning about Tanzania from him. He showed us every animal we requested.
These parks were very green and booming with wildlife in November. Lake Manyara national park was surprisingly like a rain forest, and Ngorongoro crater had absolutely beautiful scenery . Most of all we enjoyed Serengeti and the wild camps, really getting close to the wildlife and nature. I had never thought I would see thousand and thousands and thousands of wilderbeasts and zebras. Awestruck and very happy with visiting Tanzania with safari360!

One of the most breath taking landscapes I ever saw.
The landscape is the highlight. When you live in a growded area and then arrive in the serengeti, it is amazing to see. The animals are also great and the guides in the parks are friendly and well trained. I cannot really recommend Das El Salaam, Arusha is much better. Zanzibar was also beautiful in so many kinds, but it is more touristic and everyone wants to sell you something, that is really annoying. But the hotels are good and the food was great.

Amazing amount and variety of wildlife, unforgettable holiday destination
Unforgettable trip!
We (young couple) went on an amazing safari/beach combination holiday operated by african big cats safaris (abcs) and we would recommend it to anyone!
Pre-trip
Communication with abcs went very smoothly. We approached abcs only about 2 months before our desired travel dates through their website. This was no problem, and we got a prompt response. The package we were interested in was available and we quickly received a draft itinerary. Abcs was very responsive and allowed us to customise our itinerary, giving us useful advice in what to include. Last-minute changes were no problem. The itinerary was very detailed and allowed us to check every individual accommodation that was proposed. Options for alternatives (higher or lower cost) were available. They were also very transparent about pricing and what was in/excluded. A very useful pre-departure information package, container info on things like visa, airports, clothing, recommended gear and vaccinations was also provided.
We went for an 11 days / 10 nights comfort safari & beach combination with some minor customisations.
Trip: safari
After arriving at Kilimanjaro airport our amazing guide Peter was waiting for us to take us to the first accommodation. This all went very smoothly. After the first night the magical experience began as we visited 4 national parks over the next week: Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The variety and amount of wildlife was truly amazing. We got to see all the animals you would want, and from unexpectedly close by. The four different parks also offered a nice variety in landscape and wildlife. The car was excellent and had a cooler on board for cooled drinks. We had the car for just the two of us, so we had all the space to move around. A minor point of critique is that there were no binoculars on board, although it was said there would be. Luckily we brought our own. The accommodations were nice, from the hotels and inns to the amazing encampment in the middle of the Serengeti.
We want to especially thank Peter, our guide. He was very knowledgeable about and respectful of the nature and wildlife and knew his way around the parks perfectly. Constantly listening to his radio to check whether interesting wildlife was spotted close by, he did everything to make our experience unforgettable. He was very flexible, allowing us to decide what time to leave, how long to stay in a particular spot and focussing on animals he learned we are interested in. Moreover, he was just a very nice and funny guy, making him the perfect guide for our trip!
There was one minor miscommunication surrounding the itinerary. This was resolved quickly and respectfully.
After the safari days we took a domestic flight on a cool small propellor airplane to Zanzibar.
Trip: Zanzibar
In Zanzibar we stayed in a very nice hotel, the Z hotel in Nungwi, at the very Northern part of the island. The service, food, atmosphere, pool and beach were amazing. And when not relaxing by the pool or on the beach, there were plenty of activities to do there as well, such as horse riding and snorkelling with dolphins or above a beautiful coral reef.
All in all this trip was truly unforgettable and an amazing experience. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer! We would recommend such a journey to this amazing country, with this tour operator and our guide specifically to anyone. Thanks African Big Cats Safaris and especially thank you Peter!

My favourite destination for over a decade
It was my fourth safari in Tanzania and while the previous once were all great, this one was one big Wow! from start to finish. A four-day private safari to Serengeti and Ngorongoro for three. Great service all the way: excellent accommodations (including a last minute change when the Soles staff learnt there would be a noisy all-night party at the hotel they had booked us), guides who had erudite answers to every question: Oscar about the animals, country and people we saw on the way; and Chief, our talkative, all-smiles city guide in Arusha. We spotted all the big five (rhinos only from a distance) and dozens more including the masterly camouflaged leopard, huge, slowly moving herds of wildebeest (not the great migration), numerous prides of lions at the end of their mating season and hyenas feeding on whatever others had left for them. And the catering: who would imagine having a full-scale cooked lunch served on stainless plates with drinks and wine in the middle of the wilderness every day! Great, fantastic, recommended!
