Safari in Tanzania: an unforgettable experience
Tanzania is a beautiful country, and we went on a 7-day safari with Allen Tanzania Safaris. The guides gave us some unforgettable moments.
The landscapes are extraordinary and very varied. You we went in Tarangire, with its vast expanses of isolated trees and large numbers of animals, many elephants and herbivores such as wildebeest, zebra and giraffe.
We moved from Tarangire to the Lake Manyara reserve and you are in a dense forest where you discover completely different landscapes. You'll rub shoulders with the lake and see lots of birds, baboons and elephants.
We then went to the Ngorongoro Crater, an impressive caldera home to a huge variety of animals. Once again another magnificent landscape, another fauna, lions, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, zebras, buffaloes, eagles, yennas.
Then we arrived in the Serengeti, savannah as far as the eye can see. We travelled through the Serengeti from the centre to the north, again with extraordinary landscapes and more animals, lions, leopards, crocodiles, hippos, zebras, vultures, cheetahs...
We were at the beginning of November, a very pleasant season, with cool temperatures at night (15°C) and temperate temperatures during the day (25°C). This is the season for light rain, and we only had 10 minutes of rain during our stay.
We went on safari by taxi plane between Arusha and Kuro in Tarangire, then between Manyara and Seronera in the Serengeti. I can only recommend this method of transport between the parks, as you can enjoy the view from the sky of Tanzania's mountains and avoid the fatigue of travelling to the parks. I can only recommend it.
All across our trip, the accommodation was very comfortable and the staff welcoming.

Tanzania, Magnificence everywhere
An Unforgettable Adventure in Tanzania
Tanzania is nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this would be a journey unlike any other. The national parks are some of the most stunning I’ve ever seen. Each one offers its unique charm, but together they showcase the incredible diversity of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
We were fortunate to see animals up close—majestic lions, graceful giraffes, and even elusive leopards. The Serengeti’s endless plains were awe-inspiring, while the Ngorongoro Crater felt like stepping into a hidden paradise.
Beyond the natural wonders, the people of Tanzania made this trip truly special. Warm, welcoming, and proud of their culture, they generously shared their stories and traditions. Visiting local communities was eye-opening and heartwarming, providing a glimpse into a way of life that’s both simple and deeply connected to nature.
The weather was perfect during our trip, warm days with cool breezes, a bit of rain but no this impossible to face, making every moment comfortable whether we were on a game drive or relaxing at camp. Safety was never a concern; everything was well-organized, and the guides and staff took great care to ensure we felt secure and at ease throughout.
Tanzania is more than a travel destination—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The combination of unparalleled wildlife, spectacular scenery, and the genuine kindness of its people makes it a place I will forever treasure.
If you’re considering Tanzania for your next adventure, don’t hesitate. It’s a journey that will stay with you forever! Our agency was Ngekewa Safari, super nice guides 🥰

Such an amazing country, the wildlife is unbelievable
We did a week safari followed by 6 days in Zanzibar and both were sensational. Firstly, our safari was with Serengeti Smile who looked after my family of four brilliantly, and we saw all the big 5 and more. The whole experience was amazing. Then Zanzibar … we did a couple of nights in Stone Town and 4 nights in a villa on the beach. Such a relaxing way to finish. Can’t recommend Tanzania enough.
