Fascinating country
The safari exceeded our expectations - the national parks are well maintained, the people who worked in the lodges are diligent and efficient, the tented camps are a welcome surprise, the variety and concentration of wildlife gave us thrill and chill each day. We passed by local folks and they seem warm and accomodating, they made us feel welcome. I commend the country and people behind conservation groups for preserving the national parks. It made me aware of our responsibility to preserve God's creation so future generation have something to experience. This is a true legacy.
Zanzibar - I was not thrilled when I saw it. I guess I'd been to better white sand beach. But the resort is good, with wide selection of food in dinner buffet. What I did like though is the privacy we had in the beach front despite the resort being fully booked.
Stonetown is a very interesting city, very rich in culture and architecture.
An out of the world, awesome experience
Good weather, good food, good accommodation - eveything beyond expectation/ imagination. What appealed most was the fact that the Tanzanian people are so eco-conscious. The locals are careful not to spoil the savannahs. Neat places, healthy respect for fellow human beings, law abiding, secular, etc.- wonderful people. In remote places in the jungle women were working in the lodges in the night showing that there is ample safety and respect for women. It was great to spend some time in such a glorious nation with wonderful people.
Fabulous
We went on Safari with E&H Blessed Safari twice; March 2010 and 2012. Both times the weather was beautiful, the animals plentiful and the experience mind boggling. Witnessing he Great Migration is beyond belief.
The people are polite, friendly, and anxious to please.
The magnitude of the Serengeti is difficult to imagine. On our last trip we covered over 2000 Km in three weeks, and loved every minute of it. We are planning to return soon.

Amazing animal paradise
The animals abundance and the beautiful scenery in Tanzania is just awesome. I visited Serengeti, ngorongoro and lake manyara in 4 days with Asante Tanzania Safaris and I saw everything I always wanted to see in the animal kingdom!
Our tour guide was perfect with good information and the cook was marvelous too. Its adviseable to carry a sleeping bag for more comfort at night.

The numbers of animals viewed was unbelievable. We saw them all ( except a leopard ) in the hundreds, new borns as well . The birds were also plentiful and beautiful and ones never seen prior to this safari to Tanzania.
Tanzania the Land of wonders
The Ngorongoro crater full of wild life was amazing experience though the weather is cold but accomodation at the ngorongoro crater lodge was wonderful and of high standards that with all varieties of nice food and drinks prepared by world class chefs. A great place to experience your first safari.
The national parks in Tanzania have a stunning amount of animals (significantly more so than Ugandan parks), and this makes game drives easier there. We visited 5 parks/reserves there, but by far our favorite resort was the Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge at the rim of the crater. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the dining room was very luxurious, so I highly recommend this lodge.
The Serengeti is a must for any safari to Tanzania. If you can be there during the Great Migration (Jan-Mar) you'll see some awe-inspiring wildlife. Unfortunately we went during the summer, so we missed that, but still had an amazing journey.

Better than any zoo you will ever visit
We went with Eastern Sun Tours on a 6 day / 5 night camping safari. Why would anybody want to pay for accommodation above camping? We visited Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Nothing was too much trouble either before or during the trip and the service was first class. Well done Simon and Mercy you have a fantastic team.
