Off the beaten track safaris in game reserves plus Kilimanjaro climbing no country in Africa can compare. For Birders you have Eden on Earth lotsa places to go. Forget the normal serengeti ngorongoro and tarangire Northern circuit. Thats for beginners, you need to go to game reserves and new national parks to truly appreciate the vastness and beauty of nature . Try it....:-)

The abundance of wildlife, great scenery and good accommodation. It was extremely rare that we saw other safari jeeps.

Tanzania has some wonderful places to see wildlife. Highlights for us where the Lake Manyara Tree lodge, visiting the Ngorongoro crater and Lodge, and especially Klein's Camp. Sure some of the locations can be very busy with tourist (Ngorongoro crater for example), but in almost every case the beauty of the wildlife and nature will overcome this drawback with ease.
Tanzania is a haven for parks. While some are more off-the-beaten-track than others, nearly all of them provide unparalleled wildlife viewing activities and stunning scenery.
Friendly people, lots to see, lots of open space.

I've been there three times. Two safaris and climbing the Kilimanjaro. Always a great experience. Lovely people; the sense of freedom. I love the way Tanzania smells.

Tanzania is a great safari destination, because you have everything you want on a safari in one country. You have the upscale tourist areas in the northeastern part of Tanzania, while there are plenty of off-the-beaten-track destinations around the country. The wildlife is amazing, with a great diversity and of course the Big Five. It has 2 parks where you can see chimpanzees in the wild. You can climb Mount Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa). Tanzania has gorgeous beaches and plenty of places where you can dive and see amazing marine life, can swim with dolphins, and perhaps spot a whale shark. Next to that, Tanzanian people are extremely friendly, helpful and hospitable, which will guarantee an amazing stay in this beautiful country. Moreover, in the last years many cultural events have developed, such as cultural villages, the Sauti za Busara music festival on Zanzibar, and the Zanzibar International Film Festival.

Tanzania was amazing! From our first stop in the Serengeti to our final destination of Zanzibar, there was always something to see and do. The people, the wildlife, and the scenery were all amazing.
We saw so much, yet there was still so much we hadn't seen! Even Kilimanjaro was covered by clouds!

The countryside and wildlife are beautiful, the people are friendly and you will see the best that Africa has to offer. Local flights, e.g. to Zanzibar are worth considering as the roads can be rough and slow.
