So many great places!

I loved my time in Tanzania!

I started at Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater, which had a really good balance between catering to tourists (plenty of places to see the animals from, established camp sites) and still being genuine wildlife reserves (no paved roads, animals walking free). I got to see quite a few lions, hippopotami, and giraffes, as well as more zebras and gazelles than you could count.

Next stop was Dar-es-Salaam, and then I took the ferry to Zanzibar. The whole island is beautiful, and Stone Town is like a time warp.

The people I met were all really friendly, which made it so much better, and I was really sad when I had to leave to get back to the real world.

Our first time on safari but not our first time in Tanzania … we keep coming back because the people are so fantastic but this time with a four day safari it was epic … we started in Dodoma did Tarangiri, then Ngorongoro finishing with the Serengeti before being dropped off in Musoma … our guide Moses was amazing, the eyes of a hawk so we saw just about everything we could have hoped for from lions and their cubs, to cheetahs a few metres away to hyaena on a lion kill and the most fantastic birds and views you could wish for … thanks safari bookings for providing the links to find our safari company

One big wonderful 3 day safari adventure

After a special experience of flying in a small plane from Arusha to Seronera, we were warmly welcomed by our fantastic driver (Gama) and friendly guide (Gift) from "Cari local African safaris". The first day we visited the serengeti national park where we spotted 4 animals of the Big Five within a few hours. We also spotted elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, hyenas and much more. All those animals in such a beautiful environment. what a beauty, what an unspoiled pure nature. Really incredible.

After a great welcome from the staff, a bush dinner, and a good night's sleep in Safari port Serengeti Camp we left for
Ngorongoro Crater. A place where we experienced otherworldly beauty with extraordinary
wildlife and where we also spotted the last animal of the big five (the rhinoceros). At the end of the afternoon there was time for a dip in the pool of Siafu Serenity Lodge where we spent the night in a fantastic room after a delicious dinner.

The last day we left early in the morning for Tarangire National Park. The park with the baobab trees and known as the elephants paradise.
And a paradise it is indeed. Not only for the elephants. There is also a huge population of wildebeest, giraffes, hippos,
buffaloes, baboons, vervet monkeys, and zebras. What a fantastic end to our safari trip!

Fell in love with Tanzania

Tanzania has the most diverse and beautiful nature. The nature sometimes seems out of this world for an european. I cannot recommend enough going to Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater, they are a must see. There wasn't so many tourists because of the low season in April. I would skip the extra Masaai tibe visit on a Safari tour. It was only an hour long, you don't really get to know the culture and they pressure you to buy things from the village. *Another con was the Ramadan. Without an arranged tour it was sometimes hard to find food, especially if you were in a more remote/non-touristic location. Also if you want to party there's nothing special during Ramadan. April wasn't too bad with the rain even tho it is the starting month of the rainy season. Over all people of Tanzania are funny, easy-going and kind, the nature and music are amazing and food is good.

We have just returned from a fantastic safari in Tanzania (Nyerere tented camp). The overall experience was amazing. From the minute we landed in the bush we we very well taken care of with excellent food, accommodation, transport and tours. I did not expect to be able to get so close to the animals. The safari itself was exceptional. The people of Tanzania are very friendly and are always willing to help. I would not hesitate to go back again and would encourage anyone else thinking about it to try it.

The safari in Tanzania was amazing!

The safari experience in Tanzania was an incredible experience! I was traveling with my mother inlaw and at all times we felt safe and well cared for. All the accomodations were very nice, the camping in 'tents' was definitely more like glamping. The rooms were always clean, beds were comfortable.
The food at all the resorts was delicious with several options,
and all the staff were so gracious, friendly, and helpful! We had so many enjoyable interactions at each stop.
We saw all the wildlife we were hoping to see and then some.
Our guide, Jaffari, did a great job of making sure each game drive was successful.
He was so knowledgable about the animals, plants, culture; we really enjoyed
our adventures with Jaffari.
I highly recommend going on safari in Tanzania, you will not be disappointed!

2 day safari tarangire and ngorongoro

We had booked overnight a lodge near the lake but it was flooded so had to send us to alternative. Not their fault but disappointing. The driver was really knowledgeable and helpful but without being in your face. It was very long drive between parks but guess I should have investigated that before we booked. Saw so many different species including rhino's.
