We came for the Great Migration at the Mara River crossings, but found so much more. Lions stalking warthogs, elephants raising their trunks to smell us, magnificent sunrises and sunsets, birds of all colors and sizes, the welcoming Masai people.
In my experience there three of the most beautiful places for wilflife: NogoroNgoro Crater, Ndutu Area and Serengeti National Park.
Big five, small cat (serval cat and caracal), lots of herbivorous, birds... and the scenary is amazing too.
Best experience
Safari in Tanzania can definitely prove to be a great alternative for you in case you are planning to have a great time here
If you want to see wildlife in their natural environment and doing what they do (and yes that means hunting) then Tanzania is a superb trip. In addition to the wildlife the landscape photography is stunning along with encounters with the local Massai tribe. All the camps were professionally operated and there was never a fear for security or safety. This is frankly a trip of a lifetime and we are already planning a return trip to Africa.
We saw everything except rhino (sadly) and had a wonderful experience of close up encounters with wild animals.

Tanzania and Kenya are two sides of the same coin, very similar, yet somewhat different. Both should be visited.

It depends if you are in the park or not. IN the park is 100% the real thing, but outside... not so much.
