Diverse, charismatic, stunning scenery and wonderful people and food
Our family had a month of memories we'll never forget - squeezing in to a bjaje/tuc-tuc, eating wonderful fresh fruit, long distance bus journeys with people trying to sell all sorts of stuff every time we stopped, the list goes on. I haven't even mentioned the northern safari circuit and Zanzibar. The slave market in Stone Town was incredibly moving. A great place to explore

Hakuna Matata!
Everything was amazing! The driver was superb! David was a true friend always trying to help us to take the best picture and the best place to stop the car. About the lodges... best place to rest ever!

Amazing!
We had an amazing time in Tanzania, thanks to our tour operator Savannah Explorers! Seeing the animals in their natural habitat was an awesome experience! We visited several parks and saw soooooo many different animals. After 5 days of game drives, we flew to Zanzibar for 4 days on the beautiful blue beach. Our accommodations were all 5 star and we have no complaints. All of the people we encountered were so nice and welcoming. The weather was perfect, in the low to upper 80’s (F) during the day. Our trip to Tanzania was one of our best trips yet!

Safari Nyerere
Very good safari, with a great guide and lots of animals! Walking Safari was a real adventure and the boat tour wasn't to be underestimated either! All in all at least as good as Serengeti, just cheaper!!

Astonishing experience
Tanzania's National Park are a dreamy reality. Crossing their gates meant to me detaching from reality, society and all the problems related, it felt like a peaceful and spiritual reality where I regained a lost relationship with nature and animals. Sleeping inside the tented camps in the park was incredibly peaceful, it was really a dream, during the night animals roam around your tent, and we could hear zebras, hyenas, buffalos ecc.. Serengeti then was a real gem, we saw all the big five and many hunting scenes and lion cubs.
We choose Colours Africa Tours as operator and they were really helpful, always on time and always listening to our requests, they put us in amazing accomodations and give us delicious food, and I think they provide a really good quality service compared to the price. Overall that's an experience I would 100% repeat. Also, even when in Arusha or Zanzibar we felt safe walking around by ourselves in the villages, which is something you can't do everywhere in the continent. The weather was hot but pleasant in the mainland and in the parks, only in the Ngorongoro Crater it was very cool, but in Zanzibar it was, in my opinion, intolerably humid.

Absolutely incredible
Tanzania is an absolute must destination in your life time. From climbing Mt Kilimanjaro to a 10 day safari through the Serengeti, everything was more than I could have imagined. The visual beauty of what I experienced is unforgettable.

Amazing!
Tanzania was a great experience. Plenty of wildlife, the great migration and the beautiful scenery made our trip one that we will never forget. It's definitely one of the best, if not the best place to go on a Safari.

One of the best destinations I've ever experienced. TOP
One of the best destinations We've ever experienced. The beaches and the people are magnificent! Incredible!
I can't find anything negative to say!
The activities we can do are spectacular.
I recommend the 1-day safari to Mikumi National Park - very good. Thank you safaribookings for helping me find such a great operator - Smile With Us Tours Africa
The tour to Mnemba Island is fabulous.... really worth it.... I recommend the operator -> Time for African Adventures
The only downside to Tanzania (Zanzibar) it's a long way from Europe... but it's worth every hour spent on the plane!
As soon as possible, we'd love to go again. We adore it!

You will see all the animals you came for!
I thought it was nice country with great wildlife and friendly people. Aside from the wild life and the Serengeti, we did not have time to see much else. Arusha is meh, you wouldn't go there except to go on safari. The lodges are uneven but generally plenty nice enough. The food is generally just OK--but again you don't go there to eat. Our guide was outstanding--so skilled at spotting wildlife and more determined than even we were to make sure we saw it. His name is Joseph with Lion King Adventures. We did do a day trip to Kilimanjaro but I wouldn't bother. The beginning of the trail that you would see could be anywhere. Like many, we never caught a glimpse of the mountain due to clouds!
