Absolutely wonderful people and beautiful county!
We did the 3 day safari with Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club going to Tarangire and Ngorongoro and staying at the Kitela Lodge. The whole experience was fantastic. Rajab was really helpful throughout the booking process and answered our many questions promptly and well.
Tarangire was brilliant but Ngorongoro is something else - an incredible place. Our guide was Emmanuel and he led us through the safari brilliantly, and with his help we did manage to see the big 5! He was really friendly and helpful throughout the trip and even organised a taxi for us for when we landed in Zanzibar for the second part if our holiday, which was going above and beyond.
The Kitela Lodge was a magnificent place to stay. Our own beautiful thatched cottage, absolute luxury after a day in the heat, and brilliant food.
Tanzania and its people has captured our hearts!

Genuine East Africa Experience, top Hospitality, Friendliness and unimaginable Wildlife
Tanzania checks all the boxes if you desire an authentic cultural and safari experience. The Original Maasai Lodge north-east of Arusha provides a luxury accommodation and excellent cuisine along with in depth Maasai cultural experiences. Arusha National Park has beautiful vegetation and animals viewing in a place with fewer visitors. The Maturuni Waterfalls and nearby coffee making excursion is an enjoyable day trip with a stop at the Chemka Hot Springs delivers a refreshing dip in the not so hot but crystal clear lovely water. The highlight of the 11 day time spent in northern Tanzania is a visit to Serengeti National Park. Although the trek to the endless plains is dusty and bumpy in the sturdy safari vehicle, the reward is in the amazing wildlife and scenery. The number of animals is mind boggling, with close encounters with lions, elephants, hippos and cheetah. Our safari tour operator Tanzania Porcupine Expedition took extreme care with us to have the best possible experience. The communication and attention to detail was incredible. Our four day safari also included Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater along with the epic time in Serengeti National Park. The mid September trip featured warm mostly sunny days and virtually no precipitation. All in all, Tanzania is a special place and visit.

GREAT short Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater Trip!
We saw almost all animals except for rhinos and it was just amazing to see all the animals up close, in their herds/families during beautiful sunrises, and sunsets and in an incredible landscape even if it was the dry seasons.
The Suricata team was terrific all the way from the guide to the cook and the campsites were so magical sleeping so close to the animals. I can highly highly highly recommend this trip!

The best experience which we have ever had :)
Everithing was reaaly good organized, we arrived at the airport a flew directly to Nyerere National Park. The driver took us really very close to all the animals, he really tried to find a lot of animals. Then there was really adventorous night in a camp with elephants. In the morning we had walking safari and boat safari with hippos and crocodiles.

Something Special (one in a lifetime)
We did only a 3 full day safari which is quiet short but was enough for us! Our Safari Guide frome „Lion King Adventure“ was really friendly but also a little bit tooo careful while driving on the „normal roads“ everyone will overrun us even the big trucks.. he was afraid of a big fine.
Also we went to Tiarangire, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Our Guide was sad we did‘t book Serengeti (because it was too far away for us). And he didn‘t want to go home to his family because of a lot of bills, so he made us feel bad.. They don‘t have enough work / safaris to do / to less tourists.
We REALLY liked the „Karatu tented lodge“ in Karatu where we stayed for 2 nights!
Before and after the Safari we slept each one night in Arusha in the „Mount Meru“ Hotel, also recommend this hotel.
After the Safari we went to Zanzibar and we loved the north of it!! (Nungwi!) Probably the most beautiful Beach ever!
2 days it was raining a little bit but nothing bad.
The service in the Hotel was not as good as expected (sundies baobab hotel), we only booked B&B and went to different restaurants for lunch & dinner at the beach. That was amazing food and really cheap!
After 1 Week we went to the South of Zanzibar (Kizimkazi), we really liked the hotel (fruit & spice) but at the beach it was really windy and the beach was not really nice! Next time I wouldn‘t go to the South.. maye east, but definitely loved the North!

Tanzania remains an authentic destination, with amazing, preserved wildlife resource.
We did organize this trip for our 20th wedding anniversary, expecting an amazing experience in a wild preserved, and authentic place. Tanzania definitely is.
We did book our trip through Soul of Tanzania who did provide very relevant advice to make our trip unforgettable. We highly recommend Tanzania for the beauty of the landscapes, the preservation of its wildlife and the extreme attention we have received from the inhabitants of this country.
