We saw all the big 5 during the stay in the safari, as well as other animals. The driver (Mike) and the cook (Maxexe) were so nice and they did our stay super nice. Maxexe cooks the best dishes of Africa, everthing was great. And Mike knows all the Serengueti and Ngorongoro spots to watch the animals

Highlights of the trip were definitely the river crossings of the great migration and hanging out with the Maasai people at their lodges

We planned a 5 day trip to Tanzania. Our tour operator Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club adviced us to add 2 days, and go to Serengeti North to see the river crossing of the great migration. We could"nt do better! It was fantastic to see, as tousands of gnus and zebras are joining on the river banks to cross the river together!
The way to north is a little long, but not boring. Our guide Vicent was amazing, and always had an idea to find a good spot for us. Hunting leopard, baby lions walking on the road, resting cheetah, elaphant bringing down a tree... wa saw everything!

Zohar is an awesome company and everything worked smoothly, from booking, airport pickup, safari to the airport drop off.
They really pay attention to details and made our honeymoon very special. We highly recommend booking your Safari with Zohar!

Beautiful nature and stay in camp is an amazing experience.

We stayed 2 nights in a camp and did the whole day drive, boat trip during sunset, bush walk a local village visit. The whole experience, from the flight that we took from Zanzibar, through the stay in the camp, dinners, sleeping, showering, to the boat and car, meeting thousands of beautiful animals (elephants, antilopes, girrafes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, lions…), many absolutely nice people from the staff, together made unforgetable beautiful memories and best holiday ever.

Amazing! the trip of a livetime!!

Overall the experience was breathtaking. We were surprised by how friendly everyone was, and the scenery is overwelming. It is an underdeveloped country in many ways, but they know how to make the most of the amazing scenery they have.
The camps were very well organized, and eventhough many things can happen, we always felt secure.

Do not expect 5 star hotel experience, it is more about enjoying the wild life and the landscapes, but still the hotels are more than acceptable, the food is good and the people are amazing!!

Little bit expensive but every penny worth in wild life safaris. The facilities at safari Lodges are excellent.

Place of numerous natural beauties - but lacks infrastructure

We hired a Safari company that helped us a lot, even before the trip (choosing the best airport, and the best flight time).
The Safari itself was wonderful. The guide was super knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. He welcomed us at every step.
We also went with an excellent cook- we ate very well at every meal!
We camped at the public camp. The structure was very good, and we could see some animals very close!- the camp doesn't have fences, so the animals roam around there.
Our tour offered a day visit to the waterfall and hot springs. That day was not very good. The waterfall is beautiful, but it's inside a coffee farm, where you participate in the coffee-making process, with lots of partying and singing - which you don't have the option of not participating. The visit to the waterfall itself was super short, you can't swim or even stay for a long time, as there are many tourists in addition to the residents of the farm. Then we travel for
Read more hours to get to the hot springs. Well...the place is crowded (we went on a Sunday), as it is the leisure space of the locals. Several people with floats and loud music, in addition to the barbecue. We, like other tourists, didn't feel comfortable staying there, it felt like we were invading something and being in such crowded places bothers us a lot. We left very quickly.
We were 6 people, and none of them recommends this last day tour as a whole.
In general, be prepared for latrines, lack of hot showers and toilet paper, and long hours of driving on very bad roads - in addition to a lot of bureaucracy and delay in airports and cheaper hotels.
Still, it's worth it to be so close to the animals and see them peacefully in their natural habitat.
