Fantastic Trip of a Lifetime
I had been on a safari the the Massai Mara in Kenya before, but this time I took my entire family. Wife, 2 kids (9 and 10) and my aging parents. Tanzania did not let us down. We did the northern loop (Tarangire, Manyara, Crater, Serengeti) and saw so much wildlife that we still think about it a year later. The landscapes are beautiful and the animals are breathtaking.
Some of the spots like the crater and around central serengeti are busy. Your guide makes your trip hands down. If you have an guide that just cares about time and not his clients, you will have a less than great stay. Our guide went above and beyond to cater to our every need and what we wanted to get out of each day. go to the busy areas first and then branch out to see what Tanzania has to offer. I recommend not staying in the large "tourist processing centers" but the tented camps.....What an adventure.
I cannot wait to go back.

A perfect safari tour
7 unforgetable safari days perfectly planned by Tourlane and implemented by Leopard Tours.
We want to thank our german speaking guide Issa Andrews who showed us the land and the people and never got tired of our questions. He always answered them for us with such expercise.
His knowlegde of german was very good and his sense for the wildlife helped us for more and unforgetable sights.
As a foreseeing driver and with his calmness he always gave us a feeling of security. With that we enjoyed our safari without boundaries.
Leopard Tours is a competent company that will also be in future our first choice.

A terrific combination of experiencing very remote as well as very often visited places of Tanzania
Even the leopard was there! Lots of elephants and lions very close - lions also resting in the trees, wildebeests giving birth just in front of us, a large group of rhinos - at distance, large groups of zebras, wildebeests and gazelles "on the run"/migrating, lots of hippos, looking like stones in a mud hole - and suddenly emerging from the mud with a big yawn ….. We have seen and met much more wildlife and birds than expexcted - Mountain areas, waterfalls, wonderful sceneries as well in the mountains as on the grassland. The weather much better than expected, although we also tried heavy rain, lightning and thunder (at night!)! Very different national parks - good choices!
And almost all accommodations far beyond expectation - only in two of 11-12 places we stayed in, we had a few - minor - comments, all basic things was very well functionin! The food was usually very fine - or at least reasonable, but we often had a long service time!! Transportation: A superb driver, but the poor man had a LOT of work with the maintenance/repair of the rather old and "tired" safari car, safety equipment not really existing? OK.! He did a really good job and was very helpful and serviceminded! We had far more than "value for money"!! THANKS!

Reccomandable operator
We had a very good safari with Tanzania Exclusive. We booked it two months in advance and had some changes in the standard planning. Everything seemed possible. The organization went smooth and they were keen on the small details of the trip. During the trip they suddenly changed a accommodation, which was also fine, but they forgot to tell us. The reason: it was fully booked. We found that strange since we booked this trip way in advance. Nevertheless we had a good time and saw all the beauties of Northern Tanzania. Our driver, Nickson, was absolutely fantastic! Always on time, cleaning the car in between, making sure we could get as close to the animals as possible. Besides that he had a lot of knowledge about all the animals and was passionated about his job. Good driving and English speaking too. We can recommend this organization for your Safari in Tanzania and we are sure you will have a good one!

Fantastic experience
We had an excellent week in Tanzania following about 10 days on another safari in Kenya. They were very different experiences but both very enjoyable. The variety and number of wildlife seen was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

Amazing
There are some hiccups with the guides but it did not dampen the spirit when you see the wildlife. Wildlife is plentiful and you will appreciate the amount of work the rangers place into ensuring the place is poacher free. This is something that should not be taken for granted.
Weather was all good and warm as expected. Special thanks to the chef who brought the whole experience up to the next level. He level of attention and care is beyond a job. He is passionate about what he does.

Incredible experience !
An exceptional experience : 10 days of safari in different regions. We saw all kinds of animals, including the rarest, as Rhino, hippo, Leopard, Guepard, and of course, many lions, girafes, hundreds of elephants, thousands of zebras, thousands of Gnous (migrations). The lodges are all very different, as well for location, atmosphere, welcome quality, efficiency and kindness of the staffs, quality of the guides... well a life experience as much for scenery than animals, and also very exceptional accomodations !
THank you so much to Safari Bookings.com for their high quality website : it really helped us planning our dream trip !

It Was fantastic
The wildlife was amazing , we saw a lot of giraffes an hippopotamus was just outside the cabin. Most of all we liked the many lions and came quite near them. Also saw elefants and wild dogs and lots of wild beast and zebras.
We went with Selous Explorer and was enjoying the whole trip.

Smooth and Stress-free adventure..Love it!
We selected e-trip Africa after reading all the excellent reviews and the different tour options they offered. I can't say enough about the owners Aurelie and Ben. From the day we contacted them to the day we left, everything went without a hitch. Our endless stream of questions were answered with detailed knowledge and numerous changes, requests were handled smoothly.
We arrived in Arusha and stayed at the Researcher Rest before and after embarking on an 8 days Safari. It is a very welcoming and comfortable home where we were offered wonderful home cooked meals. We finally met Aurelie and Ben who are westerners who have spent years in Africa, fully understand the land, the people and culture, and the game areas and animals as well as the expectations of their customers. They were fully equipped to provide knowledgeable, personalized advice as you plan and customize your dream safari. You will not be disappointed.
The next day we met Alladin, our driver and expert guide. His easy going, humble demeanor immediately reassured us that we were in good hands. The Safari trip was perfect and amazing! Everything exceeded our expectations. Words and photos can't do justice to what you will see and experience during the daily game drives because Aurelie and Alladin know exactly where to take you during this time of the year and what is best for their customers. The safari jeep was comfortable, equipped with electrical for charging and mini fridge for water. Alladin was clearly experienced, and knew where to find the animals. We saw all the big fives, and spotted many more large and small animals. He knows 99% of all the bird species we spotted. He will do his best to position the jeep such that you will have the best photoshoot in the perfect lighting situation. The accommodations (Tarangire Safari, Karatu Simba and Rhino lodges and Flycatcher Lagarja and Nieleze tented camps-really glamping) Aurelie selected were all terrific. You are so close to the wildlife and can even hear lions roar at night behind our tents. Hot showers every day and all the meals were provided and were delicious!!!
Our next stop was Zanzibar. Aurelie arranged for a walking tour of Stonetown to learn about its rich history (building made from local coral stone, intricately carved doors to show wealth, the slave trade eventually replaced by a spice trade). Again the accommodations selected were superb. Dhow Palace Hotel was owned by a wealthy merchant’s family for 3 centuries and a British naval officer lived there before it was turned into a gorgeous hotel. Our room overlooked an inner courtyard with a pool. You will feel transported to a magical place with its exotic furniture and mosquito nets. The Z hotel in Nungwi beach has the best beach for swimming, a fantastic pool and rooftop bar to watch the sunset.
There isn't enough I can say about this Safari Operator/Tour Company. I can assure you, you will be happy you used their services and did I say that the pricing structure was also very reasonable.
We had a completely enjoyable stress free one of a lifetime holiday and will definitely use e-trip Africa again for our next adventure.
