We had a wonderful tour throug the Daily Expeditions. The driver Matata is very compitent. Matata has been working for safari many years. Matata can explain everything about animals, knows all the roads in Mikuni safari and he is very frienly. We were one full day in safari and saw all animals except lions. Second day we had time only 1 hour to visit safari. Matata did that during that hour we could see lions in the front of our car. He drives a car very saftly. We have 3 kids with us and even it was a long drive from Dar Es Salam, I never become afraid. At nigt we stay in very nice lounge with swiming pool and good dinner and breakfest. We even saw the Massai Tribe, which was very intresting. We really recommend Daily Expedition.

It was great, especially the El Bakari campsite. I wanted more photos of flowers, birds, butterflies

The items were well presented and Salim had a good command of multiple facts, names of trees, some of the plants, and some of the birds. I would use him again for a guide because he finally understood that my interest wasn't the usual tourist's of the big species but of all of it. The cultural aspect was very well presented. The price was great. I really don't have anything but good things to say except as noted and I suspect they will alter their initial questionnaire to identify those of us with a more intense observation request. Why, in my case? I'm an ecologist, university trained. I will use this group again next time.

I booked a last minute Safari with Safari Solo’s for a 5 day 4 nights trip which covered New Year in the Tarangire ,Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Even though it was a trip on a budget the whole experience excelled all my expectations.
I saw the The Big 5 and so much more

Trip of a lifetime

Everything was perfect. The weather was about 25 degrees everyday with a rain shower about 4 in the afternoon. The accommodations were better than I expected. The truck was comfortable and spacious. I can't say enough about our guide. He was a font of information and had a keen eye for the next attraction.

Spectacular tour!

Safari Soles tour company, led by Bryson, is a first rate outfitter. David Simba is a fun, knowledgeable and enthusiastic driver/guide. Put us in position to see all of the animals - including the “Big 5”, multiple times. Our chef, Dulla, made scrumptious meals without proper cooking facilities. A miracle worker. Even baked fresh bread every day. We have photos and memories to last a lifetime, or until we do it again!

we saw all big 5 and thousands of other animals and birds; could not see cheetahs due to severe rain
Overall rating
5/5

we saw all big 5 and thousands of other animals and birds, amazing landscapes; could not see cheetahs due to severe rains. overall, we had an excellent once in a life time experience. if the safari truck could be newer with more comfortable seats and quick windows opening, that would be great. the road to Serengeti is rather unpaved with lot of dust - a facial mask for dust protection is a must. the safari driver was awesome and new a lot about the animals and how to track them, as well had skills to drive in rural areas and muddy roads after the rain. the severe rains were rather unexpected for December and got us limited to see some animals or fully enjoy the parks. the roads to the luxury lodges were rather rural, it was very challenging to getting it and out, especially during and after the rain. the lodges were unbelievable, truly unique. Sopa lodge needs improvements for food and dining area, if you could avoid it until then.
