The most beautiful and complete travel experience that we could have lived
Overall rating
5/5

We chose this safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours because we were attracted by the positive reviews and, to be honest, also by the competitive price.
Our expectations were not disappointed and indeed they were greatly exceeded: these 6 days proved to be the most beautiful and complete travel experience that we could have lived.
Our guide, Felix, knew the national parks like the back of his hand. He was as attentive to driving as he was to satisfy our many expectations and curiosities. Prepared and full of attention, he proved to be not only an excellent guide, but also a dear travel companion, always cheerful, ready to joke and share moments of conviviality, always careful to teach us something new about the inhabitants of the Serengeti and other parks.
Also excellent was the cuisine of our chef Idris (renamed "stomach engineer"), very young but talented and full of enthusiasm.
In 6 days we were able to spot many animals and all five of the Big Five. Felix told us, with his usual modesty, that we were lucky. But we know that without his attention and knowledge of the places and habits of animals all this would not have been possible. Thanks again to our friends of Serengeti Wakanda Tours and, as Felix says, "you never know what you'll find around the corner!"

Full of wild life and beauty

Tanzania has a very well-organized tourism industry.

All logistics were well coordinated, and we felt safe and secure with our agency Godson Adventures - Plains 2 Picks, who take good care of my family and me.

The National Parks and Natural Reserves are well maintained, full of wild life. Hotels are good, and take good care of the visitors.
Being on a Safari is spectacular. Much better than you can imagine and different from what you can see in a video or a documentary.

Nothing replaces the experience of being there, within the nature.

Top Plan. Worth to be repeated.

The national parks in Tanzania were spectacular. Diverse and exciting.

Our recent trip to Tanzania was truly the trip of a lifetime. Starting in Tarangire was so exciting and surreal. To be so close to animals in the wild and just observe how they act in a natural setting was truly amazing. Tarangire wildlife was very dense and we saw many elephants, zebra, impala, gazelles, giraffes, velvet monkeys and baboons. We stayed in AngAta camp in central Tarangire and it had a very special vibe. The hosts were extremely helpful and personable. Lake Manyara was more about the terrain and forests - fewer animals. Central Serengeti was unbelievably vast and we had the opportunity to see many lions and cubs. Northern Serengeti was amazing because of the great migration and seeing that first hand. Ngorongoro crater was breathtaking - such diversity in a relatively small space. Our tour company E-Trip Africa was very professional, helpful (when it came to flight difficulties) and helped us have the best experiences possible. Be prepared for bumpy roads and lots of dust!

Dream come true

We did a 6 days private tour (4 days safari with Aardvark Expeditions) and it was excellent, now we know we should have gone for more days.
We saw the Big 5 in one morning, did see lots of other animals, cheetah one of the highlights.
Visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngonrogoro. Sleeping in a tented camp in the Seregenti and watching the sunset and the sunrise in the savannah is a must do.

We did a 6 days private trip (4 days of safari) that included Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngonrogoro. It was all so fast that i'm sure it will take time to take conscience of what we saw. We saw the Big 5 in one morning in Serengeti. Sleeping in a tented camp was an unique experience. We saw many lionesses and their cubs, something I was not expecting.
Overall, it was tough but rewarding.

Tanzania - One of the jewels of the Earth

At the beginning of July 2022, we took part in a four-day safari organized by the Safari Soles Tours office.
We discussed everything by email months before the trip and got exactly what we agreed on.
During our trip we visited Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. The safari was a shared budget tour, but we got maximum experiences for reasonable costs. Our guide took us through the various locations in a professional manner. We saw all the big game except the extremely rare rhinoceros. Our chef prepared delicious meals for us, and during the tour we received not only water, but also beer and soft drinks. We slept in tents for two nights. It was exciting to see the animals walking around the tents. Our car broke down on the way to Serengeti, but they quickly helped us out and we continued with another car.
We became good friends with our travel companions during the safari, and after the tour we relaxed with them in Zanzibar.
We experienced one of the greatest adventures of our lives in the National Parks of Tanzania, thanks to the help of SafariBookings and Safari Soles Tours.

Spectacular country in so many ways - amazing variety, wildlife, and people
Overall rating
5/5

We spent 3 weeks in Tanzania, starting with a week of diving in Zanzibar, moving next to a weeklong safari out of Arusha, and finishing with a multi-day climb to the summit of Mount Meru. The variety of experiences that Tanzania offers is truly remarkable. The beaches, the diving, and the culture in Zanzibar are rich and beautiful. And the highland experience out of Arusha is lush, wild, and high-elevation all within 200kms. It was warm at the beach and cool in Arusha.

We saw amazing wildlife in our safari which took us to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and both the Central and Northern Serengeti. We saw loads of wildlife, including the great migration crossing the Mara river in the north and a pair of cheetahs rocketing out of the tall grass to make a kill right in front of our safari jeep.

And if you like climbing and are looking for a unique, high elevation experience, check out Mount Meru. It clocks in at just over 4500m and is an amazing 3 or 4 day supported non-technical climb. Where else can you see giraffe and warthogs on an alpine ascent?

The people throughout were friendly, helpful, and genuine. It’s a place to slow down and savor.

In Zanzibar we dove in Matemwe with Eagle Ray divers which is a locally run shop that does dives out on Mnemba atoll. And in Arusha we worked with Safari Soles who booked our safari with Freddy and our climb of Meru with Sam and Eli. All were fantastic and I’d highly recommend them all.
