Loved the crater and Serengeti, so unique and so full of animals.
We have been to Africa a number of times, but a few things stood out and were unique about Tanzania - we really enjoyed our family trip.
The features of the Ngorongoro crater and the vibe down there were once in a life time. Absolutely teaming with animals and we saw lions feasting on their kill. It was a highlight just to stand on the rim and look down at this unique geological feature.
The vastness and amount of animals in the Serengeti. We did see the migration crossing, but on the Mara side we experienced some quiet peaceful Africa too.
The itinery that Wayfairer put together was perfect and the accomodation mostly perfect too. We especially enjoyed the 2 Serengeti camps - Chaka Camp and Kati Kati camp. Wayfairer were quick to react to our requests.
Unfortunately the guide we had during the 8 days was not great, a contrast to the overall friendly and fun loving local people, we enjoyed that interaction. One thing did bother us, which I have not seen elsewhere in Africa, is the amount of vehicles that will crowd around animals, kills, crossings, literally stopping the dynamics of the crossing. There seems no respect or protocol and it did put us off.
Otherwise, wonderful trip.

Hotels and luxurious camps were excellent but not happy with the guide provided by Savannah Explorer
We booked our safari with Savannah Explorers whose service was excellent when booking etc. The land cruiser provided could be improved. We saw a lot of wildlife except including gazelles, antelopes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes but the lions, lionesses, leopards, cheetahs were extremely rare. The best wildlife was in North Serengeti and Central Serengeti. Not much wildlife Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara was a waste of time - did not sea any tree lions. We stayed in Wellcome lodges and camps which were excellent, top class. The food was great when in the lodges and camps but unfortunately got fed of up picnic lunches, so carry your own foodstuff as well, as there is very limited stuff they can offer for picnic lunch boxes. Make sure when you book, you mention to the company to give you a knowledgeable guide who is familiar with the surroundings, knowledgeable of the wildlife, and all the roads in the park as unfortunately our guard was not up the standard and hence were disappointed somewhat regarding e service we got from him. Overall we were happy with the company but there is room for improvement in certain areas. I am happy to recommend this company provided an excellent guide/driver is provided. Make sure you have a good camera with excellent zoom to take good pictures.

Great trip with a great company
I inquired with at least three companies, Godson Adventures promptly replied with an itinerary that met needs and budget. Encountered a professional yet personal touch. Airport transfers, even at the wee hours of the morning were provided and ensured arrival to hotel or airport. Faraj was the driver with 10 year experience as a guide and it showed. From day 1 was "wow-ed" by all the nature Tanzania offered and that Faraj ensured it was witnessed. He provided insightful information and answered questions along the way; he was a joy to work with. Added an extra stop to itinerary without issue. Enjoyed two nights lodging in a beautiful setting and two nights in tents (which really is glamping). While many guides and companies exist, Godson, Faraj, and team provided a personalized holiday that really allowed falling in love with Tanzania and its people as they really take good care of each other too!

Our July 2019 Tanzania Private Safari (Migration) Trip
We were on a private fly-in safari tour in Tanzania and visited Tarangire National Park, Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park (Central and Northern part of the Park). We enjoyed our safari immensely, great game drives, comfortable lodge and camp accommodations and had a great time with our experienced safari driver/travel guide, Mbonea, a true professional. The of the main reasons we went in Tanzania on this time frame was to photograph the wildebeest river crossing. We were fortunate to experience and see two wildebeest river crossing episodes in Northern Serengeti’s Masai Mara River. The game drives in the National Parks we visited were fantastic, here are a short list of animals we saw roaming free and wild: elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, cape buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, hippos, baboons, wildebeests, cheetahs, mongoose, warthogs, hayraxes, impalas, dik-diks, elands, reebucks, crocodiles, many different birds (eagles, storks, ostriches, flamingos, vultures, hornbills. ), baobab trees and many more…. The gorgeous sunny weather throughout our visit help made the trip so much fun.
Special thanks to Belen with Travel Partners for patiently answering our inquiries before the trip, she put together our itinerary and arranged the awesome safari adventure.

epic
Hazina Africa provided a wonderful tour of Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro crater, lake Manyara, Arusha, Olduvai gorge, and Masai village. Serengeti was beyond expectation. Our guide and driver, Praise, provided exceptional service. We observed numerous wildlife though we were not there at peak season. Our guide emphasized and provided for our safety at all times. The company modified the tour for us according to the season and location of wildlife and length of tour. We appreciated the custom tour. The accommodations and food were outstanding. Our hosts were gracious and attentive and provided safety at all times.

Our first amazing taste of Africa, extraordinary
We did a private 4-days safari in the parks of Tangagire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. It was a budget safari, so we sleep in camp sites but it was all very clean and confortable. Our driver and guide was amazing, he spotted lots of lions - even a leopard - along our drives, plus all the others kind of wild animals (elephants, giraffes etc). We were able to see all the big five - even a black rhino but very far away.
Food was good, thanks to our chef Ali, and we're italians (so we care a lot when we talk about food).
4-days was a perfect starter-pack to our first safari.

Fantastic
Everything about the trip was fantastic, the guide cum driver was incredibly helpful and experienced at finding the animals and a very safe driver, the cook rusted up fantastic tasty food taking into account our food diets. the Jeep was comfortable, we chose the camping option but this was very comfortable with proper beds some nights and thick comfy foldable mattress other nights and table and chairs for dining. the scenery was varied from park to park but all stunning, as for the animals well - we never thought we would see so many so close up it just amazed us every few minutes - I still look at my photos and smile, it was such a lovely experience I would recommend to anyone we all loved it all.
