Saadani National Park is where the beach meets the bush. It uniquely combines marine and mainland flora and fauna in a culturally fascinating setting. It is Tanzania’s only protected coastal wildlife preserve. Traditional dhows sail slowly past, propelled by billowing white sails. Dolphins are sometimes seen offshore; whales pass through the Zanzibar channel on migration.
