Shroud in mist, and legend, the Rwenzori Mountains, Africa's third-highest, after Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya, remain largely unexplored. This allows your trek in this UN World Heritage Site of surreal plants, animals, and tropical glaciers, to leave a small environmental footprint. The trek will take you across forests and glaciers before you summit Margherita. After the trek, you transfer to a coffee farm that supports over 800 locals from the community - workers to small farm owners (shambas).
