Samburu is known for some rather unique wildlife not usually seen elsewhere. A visit to the reserve will offer you the sight of memorable species such as Grevy’s zebra, the reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa oryx. During the wildebeest migration, you will experience the Mara as one of the “Seven New Wonders of the World”, also known as "the World Cup of Wildlife". When the migration crosses the Mara River, it is one of the highlights as the animals fight for survival.
