Masai Mara is one of the most popular tourism destinations in Kenya situated in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Nowhere else in Africa is wildlife more abundant hence the opportunity to see the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino). In addition to other game animals, wildebeest are by far the dominant inhabitants of the Masai Mara. Great wildebeest migration starts in July- October each year.
