A visit to Materuni Village & Waterfalls offers a glimpse into nature of Tanzania before the climb to the highest point of Africa – Kilimanjaro, or ease your muscles after the climb or safari. The tour start in the coffee plantations of local Chagga tribe, where the villagers will demonstrate some of the processes involved in coffee farming and handling and give you a chance to participate in preparing your own local coffee. Also eat local food and learn some of the local history and traditions.
