Aquila is a 4 -star malaria free lodge in the Karoo, a comfortable drive from Cape Town. Situated a 2-hour drive from the city, it is a great African safari getaway. The reserve is a 10 000 hectare conservancy and home to the Big Five—elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. There is a pool bar and lounge available for drinks and snacks. Aquila offers something for everyone including day trips or overnight safaris, horseback or quad bike safaris with a spa and children’s entertainment area.
