The trip starts at Machame Gate, at an elevation of 1800 meters, with a way to deal with the south west of the mountain. It goes through super rainforest right off the bat, prior to going on up the mountain to arrive at Shira Camp, where the Lemosho route joins from the west. From here you navigate the southern side of the mountain to Barranco through Lava Tower, Subsequent to arriving at the highest point, you will plunge by the Mweka trail.
