Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in south western part of Uganda in the Kigezi Region. Bwindi is home for part of the remaining population of Mountain Gorillas. The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, and many birds like horn bills and turacos. It is the most notable for the 400 gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas. The park covers part of Kisoro and Kabale.
