The central Kalahari Game Reserve and the greater Makgadikgadi salt pans are the heart and soul of this magnificent basin. The word Kalahari is derived from Tswana's word kgala meaning great thirst. Come and experience black clouds in the afternoon skies of the Kalahari and the huge sandy geographical areas stretched for miles.
