Mount Meru stands at 4566 meters high (14980 feet) It’s the fifth highest mountain in Africa and second highest in Tanzania. Located in Arusha National Park, 70 Kilometers (43 miles) west of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania East Africa. Unlike Kilimanjaro Mount Meru doesn’t have any traffic and is filled with wild animals you’ll get to experience wildlife. Thus In the early stages of your hike you will be accompanied by a ranger to ensure you make it safely to the first campsite.
