Terms and Conditions: African Polecat Safaris
Acceptance:
By booking a tour with African Polecat Safaris Tanzania (the Company), customers agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
Booking Process:
a) Making a Booking:
Booking a safari or tour is an interactive process, ensuring clients find the right fit. Once a suitable tour is identified and a quotation agreed upon, clients proceed to make a deposit to confirm the booking.
b) Price Guarantee:
Quoted prices are guaranteed upon receipt of deposit, with exceptions for government-regulated fees, fuel surcharges, and exchange rate fluctuations.
Payment Terms:
Payments are structured as follows:
• Deposit Payment due on camping safari bookings: 10%
• Deposit Payment due on Safari in Lodges bookings: 25%
• Deposit Payment to safaris including flights 35%
• Deposit payment due on tailor-made option bookings: 10% – 70%
• Final Payments are due upon arrival (Cash preferred).
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation policies vary:
• Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to the tour forfeit tour fees.
• Disasters/Emergencies: Notify us immediately in case of unexpected disasters or emergencies. we’ll assess each situation for rescheduling or refunds.
• Cancellations made before 10 days to the tour date may be refunded (except for lodging tours, and flights subject to lodging and flight policies respectively).
Liabilities and Limitations:
The Company is not liable for claims, losses, damages, injuries, or delays arising from factors beyond its control, including acts of terrorism, natural disasters, or supplier failures.
Insurance:
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance are recommended for all participants. Clients are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
Fly in doctor
A "fly-in doctor" service is available for clients in need, and it will incur an additional 25$ charge per trip for those who require this service.
Additional Excursions and Activities:
Additional excursions or activities will incur an extra charge for clients. Information about these activities and excursions is provided for your convenience.
Airline and Flight Issues:
For domestic flights, we will assist you with any issues that arise. However, please note that any flight related issues, including cancellations or delays, must be addressed directly with the airline. The Company is not liable for flight disruptions.
Language:
Our team comprises guides proficient in various languages, including Spanish, French, English, Italian, and German. If you prefer service in any of these languages, please inform us at your earliest convenience so we can accommodate your request accordingly.
