The Classic Discovery & Beyond itinerary is an 8-day adventure that allows you to explore Tanzania Southern Circuit parks. Mikumi, Ruaha, Kitulo and Katavi. The grasslands of Mikumi support large herds of zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and impala. Giraffe and elephant are also common. Predator viewing in Ruaha is exceptional. The park is known for its big prides of lion and healthy wild dog population. While lions are very territorial, wild dogs, with their big home ranges, are a lot more elusive.
