Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, it’s an island sanctuary in Lake Victoria, Uganda, dedicated to the care of orphaned eastern chimpanzees, that have been rescued by dedicated conservationists. Many of the Chimpanzees were rescued from poachers & are unlikely to survive reintroduction to the wild. The Ngamba island sanctuary trip is an ideal before/after Uganda Wildlife & Gorilla Trekking safari waiting for your departure time at Entebbe International Airport.
