Ruaha National Park is southern Tanzania's largest and most remote park, 130km (80mi) west of Iringa. It covers an area of 20,226km² (7,800mi²). This tour is designed for those who want a very remote, quiet park with no congestion like the northern parks. Key animals found in Ruaha National Park include elephant, zebra, lion, giraffe, hunting dog, ostrich, greater and lesser kudu, Grant's gazelles, striped hyena, sable and roan antelopes, crocodile, and hippos in the Ruaha River.
