Here, you will find the ‘Samburu Special’ —a unique set of five creatures: the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx. How exciting! Reteti Sanctuary takes in orphaned and abandoned elephant calves to release them back into the wild herds adjoining Reteti expanding the grassroots movement of community-driven conservation across Northern Kenya.
