The trip, will offer experience of adventure of a lifetime. Many species of plains national reserve are commonly sighted, and you may have a fortuitous experience of sighting steinboks, duikers, pigs, bushbucks, and also other elusive fauna. Lake Elementaita is also home to the tufted-eared caracal, golden and striped jackals, and other smaller predators. The entire Mt. Longonot hike takes 4-6 hours. The 3 kilometer trail up the mountain from the gate to the rim of the crater takes 3hrs.
