Mikumi National Park, Tanzania's fourth-largest national park, is easily accessible from Zanzibar. The park covers 3,230 km2 (1,247 mi2) and is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts many different animals, like buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, leopards, crocodiles, antelopes, and others.
