Bwindi is situated in southwestern Uganda, famous of its habitat of about 408 mountain gorilla’s “half of world’s population!” Opportunities abound to discover the local Bakiga and Batwa pygmy cultures through their performances, workshops and village walks. It lies at a relatively higher altitude and temperature here is cooler ranging from 10 to 18°C. A need of reasonable fitness to manouver the hights to reach these gentle giants!
