Mikumi National Park is Tanzania's fourth-largest national park and is easily accessible from Zanzibar. It covers about 3,230 km² (1,247 mi²) and is set between the Uluguru Mountains to the north and the Lumango Mountains to the southeast. Mikumi hosts different animals, including buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, leopards, crocodiles, impalas, hyenas, wildebeests, hundreds of colored birds, and others.
