Terms and Conditions for Travel with Tapestry of Kenya Tours and Safaris:
1. Legal Compliance
All travelers are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and adhering to the laws and regulations of the countries visited during their stay. It is the traveler's responsibility to ensure they conduct themselves in a lawful manner in accordance with local statutes and norms.
2. Health and Safety
Travelers must review and understand the potential health risks in the countries visited by consulting reliable sources, including the World Health Organization (WHO). Travelers are encouraged to visit the WHO website or other reputable health information sources to stay informed about vaccinations, health advisories, and other relevant health and safety information for traveling to Africa.
3. Payment Schedule
A deposit of 25% of the total cost per person is required at the time of booking.
An additional 25% of the total cost is due 60 days prior to departure.
The full balance of the trip cost must be paid 30 days prior to departure.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to departure will receive a 100% refund.
Cancellations made between 30 and 60 days prior to departure will result in a forfeiture of the deposit fees.
Cancellations made within 30 days of departure will result in a 100% loss of the total cost of the trip.
5. Travel Insurance
Travelers are strongly recommended to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage, and other potential travel disruptions. This insurance should provide sufficient coverage to address any unforeseen circumstances that may occur before or during your trip.
6. Passport and Visa Requirements
Travelers must possess a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity and obtain any necessary visas. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure all travel documents are in order and meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every point of entry.
7. Behavior and Conduct
Travelers are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards all group members, staff, local residents, wildlife, and the environment. Tapestry of Kenya Tours and Safaris reserves the right to remove any traveler from the tour without refund if their behavior is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.
8. Changes to Itinerary
While Tapestry of Kenya Tours and Safaris endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, we reserve the right to change the itinerary or accommodations as necessary or advisable to enhance the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of our guests. Furthermore, the guest understands that no changes to lodges or camps may be made once final payment has been received an processed.
