This is the ancient mode of transport used by the local indigenous people to transverse the delta. From the low vantage point of a dugout canoe —known by the local people as Mokoro —you’ll experience a local tradition that has defined the way safaris are run in the Okavango Delta. All are conducted by local indigenous people whose knowledge has been passed on for generations.
