Mikumi National Park's main attraction is the game drive, where you can watch hippos up close as they wallow and snort in the hippo pool. The park's serene landscape is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope, wildebeest, eland, crocodiles, and baboons. With some luck, you might spot lions or even a leopard. Mikumi also hosts over 300 bird species, such as the saddle-billed stork, hammerkop, and malachite kingfisher.
