The Lemosho Route is a more remote path up Mount Kilimanjaro, starting on the Western side of the mountain. It offers breathtaking views as it winds through forests and crosses the Shira Plateau, and joins the Machame Route at Lava Tower before descending to Barranco Camp via the Southern Circuit. Its longer duration enhances acclimatization, resulting in a higher summit success rate. Though slightly longer its stunning scenery and improved acclimatization make it a popular choice.
