The Mt. Kilimanjaro Marangu Route, often called the “Coca-Cola” route, is renowned for its comfort and convenience. It is the only route that ascends and descends via the same path. Unique to this route are its hut accommodations, allowing climbers to sleep in covered lodging throughout the trek. Meals are enjoyed in communal dining halls, and amenities include the availability of mineral water, soft drinks, chocolate, and even beer at all camps along the route.
