Mikumi National Park is the fourth-largest national park in Tanzania and is the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. Located in the Morogoro region, the park lies between the Uluguru Mountains. It is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, hippos, and crocodiles. Visitors have the opportunity to spot four of the Big Five animals in this park.
