Known as the "City of Saints," Harar is considered the fourth holiest city in Islam, with 82 mosques and 102 shrines. The city is famous for its narrow, winding alleys, colorful markets, and traditional Harari houses with intricately decorated interiors. The nightly hyena feeding ritual by hand of wild hyenas by local men is one of its main attractions.
