The Machame route offers one of the most picturesque paths to the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro, with multiple trails leading to its peak and back. As you make your way to Uhuru, you'll transition into stunning high-alpine deserts, where breathtaking views of ice fields and the mountain’s summit await. Often referred to as the "Whiskey Route" due to its challenging terrain, this trail takes you through enchanting forests and along a ridge that winds through moorland to the Shira Plateau.
