The Machame route is the most popular and efficient way to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro. Porters carry sleeping tents up the mountain for trekkers. Though you may complete the breathtaking and scenic Machame Path in six days, we recommend trekking it in seven days to allow yourself the time to acclimatise. The Machame route's topography is essential to its success because it allows hikers to acclimatise more effectively by allowing them to sleep low and climb high.
