This imaginative climb joins two of the most beautiful routes up Mount Kenya, Sirimon and Chogoria, creating a strikingly different and fabulous journey. Sirimon coming off the west of Mount Kenya passes through the dry side of the mountain with its giant trees and rough territory, and the descent onto the Chogoria way is precisely diverse with its rich bamboo and highland forests. The ultimate nighttime climb of Point Lenana can be as difficult as any climb in East Africa.
