Start off in the early morning and from Nairobi, you will have breathtaking views of the Kenyan landscape and the rift valley. Lake Nakuru is home to over 400 bird species including the world renown flamingoes and "the big five" lion, rhino, buffalo, elephant and leopard. Other animals include species include little grebes, white-winged black terns, black-winged stilts, pelicans, cormorants, avocets and ducks. African wild dog, zebra, eland, waterbuck, rare Rothschild’s giraffe are also common.
